FAQ'S

What about my children and pets?

We use E.P.A. registered products, follow the label directions and we use the utmost care when it comes to you and your family’s safety. Children and pets should not be in the area that we are treating or on the treated area until dry.

Do the chemicals you use have a bad odor?

We use low odor materials so lingering offensive odors will not be an issue in and around your environment.

How long do I have to leave the premises?

We recommend vacating the property for 2-3 hours while chemicals dry.  This is especially recommended for households with elderly, asthmatic, or small children.

How do I know if I need pest control service?

If you see just a few ants or just one mouse, they may have many counterparts lurking where you can’t see them. If left untreated you could have a crisis.

What happens when it’s raining?

All of the materials used in our pest management program are designed for all weather conditions.  We have a variety of products we use based on the weather conditions during your scheduled treatment.

If I don’t see any pests can I skip a service?

Remember, for us to maintain control, we must perform your services on a regular schedule.  This allows us to do our job on a timely basis to maintain and control all pests in and around your home.

Does a termite report guarantee there is no infestation?

No! Due to the characteristics and behavior of various wood destroying insects, it may not always be possible to determine the presence of an infestation without defacing or removing parts of the structure being inspected.  The inspector is not allowed to deface or remove any part of the structure.

What if evidence of an infestation is found?

Insect Assassins Pets Control, Inc. will recommend and propose appropriate treatment to control the pest.  For termites, a treatment is guaranteed for one year, meaning that if an infestation is found while the guarantee is in effect, it will be retreated (the infested area) at no charge to you.  Annual re-inspections and renewal of the yearly guarantee, in most cases, may be made for a nominal fee.
